The Pre-licensing course can be taken in the classroom or by distance learning/virtual classroom. If you opt for the classroom option, you will receive an MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. All courses follow the same curriculum, no matter which version you choose to take. The provider will automatically report your completion to the DMV after you have successfully completed your course. You will not be required to show a certificate to appear for the driver's test.
